Samsung today announced three new phones in India – Samsung Corby Speed, Mpower Muzik 219 and Duos 259. The Corby Speed is the CDMA version of Samsung Corby S3650. Mobile Phone Sales is Flat for 2009

As it is approaching to the year end, it is time to look at how the Great Reccession has affected the sales of mobile phones. Surprisingly, the sales don’t decline as much as projected, thanks to the strong sales from Asia and Western Europe. The sales of mobile phones was 1.214 billion units, a 0.67% decline from 2008.
