
March 21, 2008- Breaking news: Sky is planning to release a new handset this week. This new HSDPA handset is the new Sky Blade. Two models will be made available: the IM-S320 for Sky only and the IM-S320K for KTF only. The phone features a blade design with convenient navigation keys on the front side. It supports global roaming, which is a very exciting feature since there are so many world wide travelers that are really citizens of the world and in need of such a feature. Users can also take advantage of subway maps and terrestrial DMB.

The upper and lower panels of this new slider phone come together to form a 135 degree angle. Together with the convenient orientation of the front keys, these design features give this handset a futuristic feel. Sky has utilized gradation light effect to highlight the crescent shape of the front navigation keys. To add to the luxury offered to users by Sky in this phone, slight vibrations will be felt by users when they push buttons on the front navigation keys allowing to more accurate input since more attention is drawn to the operation of the phone.
Simplicity is the goal with this design. Sky has applied a minimalist design to this handset. First and foremost, practical functions were included in the design and operation followed by more advanced features that allow the user to really enjoy using their handset for more than just phone calls. The new lines that Sky will be introducing to the mobile world this year will be featuring similar ideas of simplicity and functionality.

This handset also features video telephone capabilities, a 2.1 inch QVGA LCS screen, a 1.3 mega pixel camera phone, an MP3 player, an electronic dictionary, document viewer and multitasking capabilities to make using all these features more convenient. Price will be around 500,000 (less than 600,000 Korean Won).
