April 15, 2008- Airis is unveiling their newest GPS smartphone, the T482. This new mobile device is a Windows Mobile alternative (this design comes installed with Windows Mobile 5) for users who are looking for a GPS smartphone that is a little different from the competition. This new design feature quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities. The large 3.2 inch QVGA touchscreen is perfect for viewing the navigation application and is the option that really makes this device something special. The SiRFStar III GPS receiver and CoPilot Live software will keep users in the right road no matter where they are headed. Also equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, and microSD memory card slot to expand internal memory and an FM tuner, this phone is everything users are looking for in a GPS smartphone.
