New BlackBerry Bold 9700 Is Available at AT&T

AT&T Wireless today announced the BlackBerry Bold 9700, a thinner, lighter, and more powerful smartphone than its predecessor, which is also known as BlackBerry Bold. The Bold 9700 phone has almost the same design and outlook of the old BlackBerry Bold. The new one still has the loved full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.44-inch LCD screen (unfortunately, it is not a touch screen).
AT&T Launches Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 Phone

In case you miss this news – Garmin decided to jump into cell phone market after seeing the GPS market is shrinking year-by-year as there are more and more phones capable of providing GPS navigation. So, Garmin partnered with Asus and togethery they released the Nuvifone G60, which will be available at AT&T Stores pretty soon. The Nuvifone G60 is a GPS phone with excellent and complete GPS system that provides turn-by-turn driving directions, traffic warnings and a search engine that can suggest nearby gas stations, restaurants and and other places of interest.
Samsung Solstice Gets Official Release

AT&T Wireless today announced a new touch screen phone from Samsung called Samsung Solstice (also known as Samsung SGH-A887). The Solstice phone runs on Samsung TouchWiz 3.0 interface, featuring virtual-landscape keyboard, widgets, and one-touch access to frequently used applications and social. The Solstice has built-in accelerometer that will automatically detect motion and the orientation of the device allowing for the use of richer applications and features, including autorotation of the display, motion sensing games and photo scrolling by tilting the device.
Leaked: Nokia 6790 Surge (Mako) Is Coming to AT&T Soon?

Someone posted a video review of Nokia 6790 Surge (the name is not yet confirmed) at YouTube. It looks like the phone will goes to AT&T. The 6790 Surge is a messaging phone powered by Nokia’s Symbian S60 operating system. It features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 2-MP digital camera, QVGA display, and a 1,500 mAh battery. Samsung Magnet Launched By AT&T

Samsung and AT&T Wireless today announced the Samsung Magnet, a big flat candybar shaped messaging phone that comes equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard. The phone will be available at AT&T Stores starting today. The Magnet phone is a simple-to-use entry level phone that doesn’t have any fancy feature, which you could show off in front of your friends. The phone has a built-in VGA Camera, Bluetooth, JAVA support, and games. It supports quad-band GSM/EDGE radios.
Nokia E71x Phone is Available at AT&T Stores Today!

AT&T officially launch the Nokia E71x, a customized version of Nokia E71 for AT&T, supporting AT&T’s 3G network. AT&T is proud to claim that the Nokia E71x is the thinnest Smart phone in the world by far. AT&T Offers Contest to Colleges Nationwide
April 14, 2008 – With technology of all kinds becoming more and more integrated into the daily life of all citizens of the world, college campuses nationwide are getting on board with this latest and more widely used method of information transfer. AT&T has also begun work to incorporate mobile technologies into the college experience. The AT&T Corporation announced a few weeks ago that that have holding a contest for college goers to develop an application for college students and faculty members, both groups can compete as well. Students and faculty have been asked to design some application that can help college goers get more out of their college and mobile experience together.
There are three categories that designers can create their application for. 1) Social networking, 2) Academics, and 3) Safety and security. For example, some college campuses already offer free security updates to subscribing phones to let students and faculty know when there are safety concern on campus or when certain buildings are closed.
AT&T to Release MEdia Mall Version2.0

March 21, 2008- AT&T is getting ready to redesign one of their standard features that most users have used a one point or another. Media Mall will get a new design to make it a bit more user friendly. New features will give users more option for their online shopping. AT&T customers will be able to brows ringtones, screenshots or games, and graphics before purchasing them rather than after the fact. There will also be purchase recommendations to help the user decive what they wish to purchase online with their handset.
