Verizon Wireless, the largest mobile carrier by subscribers in US, today announced that it will launch BlackBerry Curve 3G on September 16 for merely $30 with two-year contract agreement. The GSM-version of BlackBerry Curve 3G was first launched by T-Mobile one month ago, and what Verizon Wireless customers will get is a CDMA version of BlackBerry Curve 3G.

The upcoming BlackBerry Curve 9300 is leaked again the Internet. It looks like the phone isn’t too far from official release. Like its predecessors, the Curve 9300 still has a full QWERTY keyboard, and a 320 x 240 LCD display. It features a 3.2-megapixel digital camera, OS 5.0 operating system, 256 MB RAM, 3G, and Wi-Fi.

Verizon Wireless today announced the availability of BlackBerry Bold 9650, the same phone that was available at Sprint last month. What is so exciting about the Bold 9650 is it is Verizon’s first global smartphone that supports GlobalAccess Connect, which allows the Bold 9650 to teether Internet connection to other devices in more than 200 countries worldwide.

BlackBerry Storm 2 will be available for Bell customers on April 13th. This CDMA touch screen phone from RIM has a 3.25-inch TFT LCD touch screen, 3.2-megapixel digital camera, full HTML browser, Wi-Fi, GPS, SurePress virtual keyboard, and 2GB internal memory. The phone will be sold from $349.95 to $499.95 depending on contract agreement. Unlocked version is available for $549.95.

RIM, the maker of BlackBerry smartphones, is still struggling to come out a touch screen phone that rivals iPhone or Android phones. So far, RIM’s first-generation and second-generation of BlackBerry Storm have received tepid reception. RIM is now betting on the new upgraded OS6 to regain its market share, which is being eaten by Apple and Google’s Android. Pictures shown are the leaked snapshots of BlackBerry OS6 that features widgets, twitter feed, news, and weather. There is no word when the OS6 will be launched officially.

Apparently, the BlackBery Esses is not a touch screen phone; it is just a regular canyd-bar shaped BlackBerry PDA phone with trackpad and Wi-Fi connectivity.

BlackBerry Curve 8530, the latest Curve-series smartphone from RIM, is now available at Verizon Wireless as well. The Verizon Wireless’s version of Curve 8530 is pretty much just like T-Mobile’s Curve 8520, except the VZ’s Curve 8530 supports its own Verizon Wireless GPS services.

AT&T Wireless today announced the BlackBerry Bold 9700, a thinner, lighter, and more powerful smartphone than its predecessor, which is also known as BlackBerry Bold. The Bold 9700 phone has almost the same design and outlook of the old BlackBerry Bold. The new one still has the loved full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.44-inch LCD screen (unfortunately, it is not a touch screen).

RIM, the Canadian company that make BlackBerry phone, is rumored to release a watch phone called BlackBerry “InPulse”. The “InPulse” phone is not a phone to check your heartbeat, it is a watch phone with PDA functionalities, capable of checking emails, receiving calls, browsing the Internet, and read the news. The phone has an OLED display that nobody knows whether it is a touch screen or not. We kind of disbelieve that the rumor is true, but the phone world seems like want to believe that.

BlackBerry Storm 2 Gets Official Release

RIM, the maker of BlackBerry-series phones, today announced the BlackBerry Storm 2, the second-generation of Storm full touch screen phone. The first generation of Storm phone isn’t a success for RIM, as customers complain that the phone is too slow, and the soft QWERTY keyboard cause too much of troubles. RIM said that they have solved the problems in the Storm 2 with its new SurePress technology, which is said to be effortless when clicking on the screen and the display would be able to detect if a finger is resting on the screen.
