According to the leaked source, the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 supports GSM networks (850/900/1800/1900MHz), but not CDMA networks (Sorry for Verizon Wireless and Sprint PCs users). Besides that, the best selling point of the 8120 phone is going to be its UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access) technology that allows you to seamlessly transfer a call between typical cellular networks and a WiFi network.

November 1, 2007 - Verizon Wireless finally landed a deal with RIM for the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 and announced that the sexy looking BlackBerry Pearl 8130 will be available online on November 3rd, and in stores on November 8th. The RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8130 PDA phone comes equipped with nice multimedia features such as a 2.0-Megapixel digital camera, built-in GPS system that works well with Verizon VZ Navigator services, microSD expansion slot that supports up to 8GB of memory upgrade, and stereo Bluetooth 2.0 output capability.

Blackberry expanded its Enterprise Solution service into Uganda through partnership with Celtel Uganda and Emitac Mobile Solutions LLC (EMS). Because of this strong partnership, Celtel subscribers in Uganda with BlackBerry cellular phones will be able to access corporate email wherever they go.
