Seoul, Korea, October 28, 2008 – It’s time to start exercising your thumbs as LG Electronics, a worldwide technology and design leader in mobile communications, launches the LG Mobile World Cup, giving participants a chance to show off the speed and accuracy of their text messaging skills. The competition began in Korea on October 27 and in Brazil closer to the end of the year.

April 22, 2008- Today, LG has introduced the LG-KF700 to the world! This new mobile device features three different input methods which allows users several different options in order to access applications and features quicker and more easily than ever before. April 3, 2008- The Iron Man is here… the Iron Man Phone from LG that is. LG Electronics has let out information today about their newest innovation. This will be a limited edition phone that will only be available to the select few. As a promotion for the new Paramount Pictures move by the same name, the Iron Man phone will be a 18 karat gold slider style device design following the style of the LG shine, another popular device from LG Electronics. Before the movie’s release on May 2, 2008, LG will be putting out the first editions of these devices.

March 24, 2008 – We all know that cell phones we originally designed just to make calls. Remember those brick phones like Zach had on Saved by the Bell? Who would have every imagined that one day cell phones would be so much smaller and yet to tightly packed with features? Now, it seems, cell phones are even becoming equipped with the technology to tell if a person is drunk. According to ABC News, cell phones with built in breathalyzer test are set to hit the US market soon. Just imagine all the lives that could be saved if individuals were equipped with a means to test themselves to see if they were fit to drive. Of course, not everyone would take advantage, but even if just a few did, it could make a real difference.
