Nokia today release three new CDMA phones, which are Nokia 6316s, Nokia 3806, and Nokia 1506, in Beijing, the capital city of China. These new Nokia phones are not as sexy looking as China’s Michael Jackson phone; in fact, they look very dull and old. However, Nokia seems like very confident that these new phones will sell in China, the electronics manufacturing hub for the world.

You may download it at Software Update website (http://www.nokia.com/softwareupdate), or you may update over the air if you have data plan. The new features of the 2.0 include “flip scrolling”, shortcuts to personalized homescreen, 3-D Ovi Maps 3.0, Ovi contacts, Nokia Email, and Ovi Store. According to Nokia, the Nokia N97 is selling like hot cakes.

Nokia Booklet will be available at BestBuy stores nationwide in November, right before ThanksGiving holidays. As the first netbook of Nokia, the Nokia Booklet is a rare product from the Finland-based cell phone maker. The Nokia Booklet features a 10.1 inch HD LCD screen, A-GPS with Ovi Maps, Ovi Suite for data synchronization, SD card reader, 3G, and Wi-Fi connectivity. It weighs less than 2.76 pounds, measures slightly more than two centimeters thin. The selling price is going to be $299.99 with an AT&T Data Connect plan two-year activation. While made-in-Asia netbooks, such as Acer and Asus, are sold for less than the price of Booklet, it is hard to say whether the Nokia Booklet is going to be big success.

Nokia today announced a brand new touch screen phone, Nokia N900 that is powered by Maemo software, an open-source Linux-based software that delivers PC-like experience on a handset-sized device. The release of Nokia N900 instantly crowns the new king of mobile phone of the year. The N900 is powered by an ARM Cortex-A8 process with up to 1GB of application memory and OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics acceleration, enough to support PC-like multitasking experience. Storage and memory wise, it has 32GB internal memory, and is upgradeable to 48GB via a microSD card.
