Nokia starts shipping Nokia E6 and X7 today. Both phones are powered by Nokia’s latest Symbian Anna OS. The Nokia E6 is a candybar-shaped touch screen phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. This phone features HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, a free navigation, an 8MP digital camera with 720p video recording and an 8GB of on-board memory. The X7 is a full touch screen phone with a 4-inch AMOLED display, 8-megapixel digital camera with LED Flash, and HD video recording. Unfortunately, the E6 and X7 will be available in all continents, except North America.

Nokia is trying to save the earth by announcing environmentally-friendly editions of both the Nokia C7 and N8 smartphones in Europe. These smartphoens are made of paints and bio-plastics. Besides that italso has an AMOLED display that consumes less power than traditional LCD screens. Nokia also take consideration of the waste of packaging box of Nokia C7 and N8 smartphones by replacing regular packaging box with a smaller recyclable box with a single page guide. Also, these smartphones will come with a more energy efficient charger. Both phones will be available via O2 and Telefonica. However, there is no pricing information available yet.

Nokia today announced the release of Nokia N8, a powerful smartphone with a whopping 12-megapixel digital camera and HD video recorder. The release date will be at the end of September, 2010. Customers in US will able to pre-order the N8 at the end of September for $550. Features of the N8 include 16GB internal memory, HDMI output, 3.5-inch touch screen, and more. Nokia today unearthed an innovative concept phone named Kinetic that could stands up to alert users on incoming calls, emails, and text messages. This cool concept phone was developed by British designer Jeremy Innes-Hopkins. How the Kinetic works is by having an electromagnet built into a curved base that shifts the weight of the phone so that the phone could roll up or roll down when receiving an alert.

“It makes receiving a call, text, email or alarm more playful by converting digital information into kinetic movement,” Innes-Hopkins said. “The stand up feature also has potential for video calling, without the need to hold your phone.”

Nokia’s first 12-megapixel digital camera, Nokia N8, today gets approval from China government to enter the world’s largest mobile phone market – China. Besides having one of the highest resolutions camera in the market, the Nokia N8 also features a wonderful 3.5-inch nHD (640 x 360 resolution) AMOLED LED screen. The phone is powered by Symbian 3, which comes with some new features including iPhone-like flipable home screens, Widget, social networking apps, and multi email accounts.

The N8 will also gets Bluetooth V3, USB On-The-Go that turns the phone into a “jump drive”, WLAN IEEE802.11n, 16GB memory, GPS, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

There is no information about its selling price.

T-Mobile today announced the Nokia E73 Mode, a candy-bar shaped smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard. The Nokia E73 Mode is designed for business customers who need access corporate emails, as the Nokia E73 Mode supports Mail for Exchange technology to receive corporate e-mail, contacts and calendar pushed directly to their device. To promote work-life balance, Nokia E73 Mode features a unique Switch Mode feature that allows users to switch between customizable home screens.

Features and specifications of the E73 Mode include a 5-megapixel digital camera with flash and autofocus, Wi-Fi for voice and data, a full HTML browser, Adobe Flash, Ovi services, and access to corporate apps including Salesforce.com IBM Lotus Traveler, and more.

FCC today cleared the way for Nokia C3, a new phone of Nokia’s new C-series. The Nokia C3 is a low-to-mid level candy bar shaped phone that is rumored to have a full QWERTY keyboard.
