Pantech today released a new slider phone with a weird name – doublEye IM-U480S Slider Phone. You would bet that their spell checker doesn’t work right, that’s why they name the phone in such a weird name. Anyway, the doublEye phone isn’t a fool like its name. It is a 3G phone with excellent multimedia features, supporting DMB-TV tuner for watching Live HD TV programs.

The doublEye phone has a new feature that no other phone has – Picture-in-picture feature that allows users to use photo camera and the video camera at the same time. This shows how powerful the processor of the doublEye phone.

Features of this Pantech phone include a 2.6-inch QVGA display with animated Flash menu and widgets, MP3 layer, 3-MP digital camera, 130 MB internal memory, and microSD memory expansion slot.

Pantech today announced a movie mania, Qbric(IM-R470S) mobile phone with DivX player in South Korea. The Qbric phone allows users to watch high definition movies on its 3.2-inch widescreen WVGA touchscreen LCD (800×480 resolution). The screen has viewing angle of 160 degree, making watching movies on the phone more pleasant.

This Qbric phone also supports SKY 3D UI TruEmotion optimized to full-touch screen. The greatest feature of “TruEmotion” is access by which 3D cube quickly and precisely responds to the action of user. For example, when 3D cube is touched to the left and to the right, turning speed of the cube is determined by strength of the force and, one touching makes quick changing of menu screen and fast and smart running of desired menu entries is available.

This cell phone also has many convenient and interesting features using proximity sensor, illumination sensor and acceleration sensor hidden here and there. Pantech today launched a new music phone, Pantech C570, in Mexico. The phone is preloaded with top billboard songs and music video of Party Cantu. The Pantech C570 will be available at TELCEL, the largest carrier in Mexico.

Besides featuring a built-in MP3 player with dedicated music playback keys, the C570 also has a 2-MP digital camera, 3.5 PAI universal earphone jack, RDS radio, microSD memory expansion slot, and Bluetooth.
