Sharp SH7118C, a flip style phone with rotational touch screen was unearthed recently in China. Now, we have close shots of one of world’s first rotational touch screen phone. Features and specifications of the SH7118C include GPS, 5-megapixel digital camera, and multi-touch navigation (will Apple sue Sharp for that?).

Sharp’s new solar powered phone, Sharp SH 7120C, is leaked in the Internet. The new SH7120C has 180-degree rotational screen and flip style design. Instead of having a secondary screen on the front cover, the front cover of the 7120C phone is replaced with a solar panel. Features of the phone include a 5-megapixel digital camera, GPS , MP3 player, Video player, and a Micro SDHC memory expansion slot.

American, please stay away from this phone, you guys are too broke, and this phone is just for the rich Chinese. I am sorry, this is just a joke. In fact, this gorgeous Sharp SH800M will only be launched for China Mobile in China, no other nation but China. The Sharp SH800M is Sharp’s first phone that support China Mobile’s unique TD-SCDMA network, a strategy to tap into the world’s largest cell phone market. The SH800M phone is said to feature 5-megapixel digital camera with LED flash, autofocus, geotagging, and etc. Besides that, it also supports CMMB mobile TV standard, a standard developed and specified in China by the State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television (SARFT), allowing users to watch live TV channels using the phone. The phone is said to have DOLBY MOBILE chip that output virtual 5.1 surround sound output.

KDDI is set to launch a solar-powered cellular phone in Japan sometimes in the summer. The picture shown above is the solar-powered concept phone that will be developed by Sharp. According to KDDI, the phone will feature a big solar panel, which could provide up to 1 minute of talk time or 2 hours of standby time for 10 minutes of sunlight. KDDI is confident that this still unnamed solar-powered phone will on sales by June of 2009.

Sharp released the world’s largest touchscreen phone, Sharp 931SH, on 1/31/2009. The 931SH has a 3.8-inch Half-XGA LCD screen, bigger than iPhone’s 3.5-inch. Plus, the 931SH has a 5.2-megapixel digital camera, Digital TV (One Seg) support, 3G, GPS, and video call. No wonder iPhone 3G sales lag in Japan, when there is a better equipped touchscreen phone out there in Japan.

Sharp, the mobile phone giant of Japan, released two brand new cellular phones in China last month – Sharp SH1810C with 8-megapixel digital camera, and Sharp SH6010C with 3.2-megapixel digital camera and stainless steel casing.
