March 21, 2008- The new conceptual phone is here. The TANCHER Transformer is the newest idea and represents the newest series of handsets. The Transformer will feature a variety of different functions that are sure to keep users pleased with their choice in cellular phone. The Transformer is named so because of the three main parts ability to rotate 360 degrees and thus to “transform.” The five major components of the phone that really make this a great buy are the inclusion of mobile telephone capabilities first and foremost, Photo and video recording, multimedia player and multimedia projector, as well as the ability to support holographic image projection and a 3-D scanner.

Several other features of this Shkinder Maxim inspired design that make this phone really amazing are the interestingly textured surface, the lovely panel colors and the graphic picturesque elements integrated into the phone that work to aid the user in remembering configuration of functions. The Transformer also features two independent screens that each display several functions that users are sure to enjoy. These exciting and unique features allow users to swap between functions without a lot of mode changes.

Cosmetically, there are a lot of options being tossed around. There is talk of a sleek grey color for the exterior that can be combined with other complimentary colors in both darker and lighter shades. Different ideas for texture also include the possibility for adding leather, jewel, engraving, and nonferrous metal elements. With all these different ideas and innovations for design and function, this new cell phone is an exciting idea that users are sure to be quite pleased with.

With all the strides made to “go green” that have been made by several different companies and products, it was only a matter of time until cell phone companies got the idea. The Bamboo phone is the newest innovation in biodegradable products. One the battery, antenna, and print board are taken off, the remains can then be placed in compos and they will begin to disintegrate in only a few weeks! That is not all… there are actually bamboo seeds within the case that, once release by the disintegrating case, will start to grow and feed on the case. The Bamboo phone literally becomes bamboo in a few months!!

The Bamboo phone is made out of two materials: the bio-plastic made of materials such as corn, and the bamboo, an endlessly renewable resource. As bamboo is harvested, there is no need to replant. Each time a shoot of bamboo is cut, a new shoot grows in its place.

This new and interesting little phone is charge via muscle power. The Bamboo phone comes with a cranking charger. After three minutes of cranking the charger by hand, the Bamboo phone will have enough of a charge to complete one phone call. So, technically, the Bamboo phone never runs out of energy, that is you never have to sit and plug it into a charge for an unknown amount of time, or loose power and have to search out a charger… just crank the charger yourself and make your next call! This little phone literally has as much energy as you want it to have (or as much as you are willing to give it anyway).

The Edge also comes complete with LED accents that are actually embedded into the phone in order to illuminate the number keys. The phone will glow beautifully with every push of the buttons and each stroke of the keys. The only lines that are even visible are the lines that mark the microphone wiring. However these have been camouflaged as a nice little border for the glitzy keyboard. Chris Owens has done an amazing job on this one!!

As cellular phone is getting tinier and tinier, do you think it is possible that we could have a pen phone just like TagHeuer watch phone? I truly believe that this is possible. Designer, Bence Bogar, releases a concept phone which he claims is the “perfect phone in the world”, which means he claims his concept phone is better than iPhone. The concept phone has 2.8″, 5.0-MP digital camera, 512MB Ram, micro SD (T-flash) expansion slot, WIFI support, built-in Bluetooth technology, and built-in GPS features.
