T-Mobile Lands Sony Ericsson Equinox

T-Mobile, the 4th largest carrier in United States, today announced the Sony Ericsson Equinox flip style phone with pulsating notifications and light effects. The effects and colors of the pulsating notifications are customizable by users to suit their needs. For example, user could use different colors / effects for different callers, and once the user had calls or missed calls, he/she would know who is calling right away. Besides that, another cool feature of the Equinox phone is its Gesture Control that allows users to control the phone using hand gesture, such as muting an incoming call or snoozing the alarm by simply sweeping a hand over the phone.
T-Mobile SideKick Has Problem Again. This time the blame goes to Microsoft.

T-Mobile SideKick series phones have been having issues ever since they were launched a couple of years ago. SideKick series are messaging phones with a slide-out keyboard, targeting users who love to text, especially teenagers. The idea of the SideKick phone is excellent, but the product has always been giving headaches to the users. This time, the problem goes to Microsoft, who took over the Sidekick services last year by acquiring Danger, the maker of SideKick, had sever failure causing T-Mobile Sidekick users to lose their personal data including contacts and photos.

Sprint Nextel, the 3rd largest carrier by subscriber in United States, today announced its first Android phone – Samsung Moment. The release of Samsung Moment shows that Google’s Android operating system is gaining a lot of momentum as more and more carriers are willing to carrier Android-powered phones. The first carrier in the United States that offered Android-powered phone was T-Mobile. Verizon Wireless also recently announced the partnership with Google.

T-Mobile wireless today announced the Dash 3G Smartphone powered by Windows Mobile OS. You might think that the Dash 3G looks very alike to HTC Snap of Sprint Nextel. In fact, the both are the same phones. The Dash 3G is simply a customized version of HTC Snap phone. The Dash 3G phone will be available in July, but pricing is still unknown. Customers of T-mobile will have an alternative phone to choose from, besides Samsung Memoir, when they want to get a 8-megapixel digital camera phone. The phone alternative phone is going to be Sony Ericsson CS8 Sony Ericsson’s first 8-megapixel digital camera phone. The CS8 was approved by FCC (Federal Communications Commission) today and it will be launched by T-mobile in the coming months. The CS8 camera phone features Xenon flash, which helps taking high quality pictures. Other features of the phone include GPS, MP3 music player, 3G connectivity, and Wi-Fi.
