HTC Ozone

Verizon Wireless today introduced HTC Ozone, a PDA phone with a full QWETY keyboard. The Ozone phone looks very alike to Palm Centro, a not so successful product for struggling Palm. The Ozone supports Verizon Wireless’ 3G network, and Wi-Fi network. It also has global roaming capabilities, allowing users to use it in other countries.

BlackBerry Tour

I guess RIM doesn’t like BlackBerry Niagara, which was the name of BlackBerry 9630. RIM decided to name the new BlackBerry 9630 “BlackBerry Tour”, which is much better than Niagara. The BlackBerry Tour gets official release today, as RIM announced that the Tour phone will be available in this summer at Sprint and Verizon Wireless, and probably by Bell and Telus in Canada. The Tour phone will be available for $199 with a 2-yr contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. Unlike the controversial BlackBerry Storm phone, which causes many die-hard BlackBerry users to hate BlackBerry products, the BlackBerry Tour doesn’t have a touchscreen.

Verizon Wireless Motorola Rival and CASIO EXILIM

Verizon Wireless, US’s largest cell phone carrier by subscribers, launched two new phones today. They are Motorola Rival and CASIO EXILIM. The Motorola Rival looks very alike to LG enV, you could say that Motorola Rival is a clone of LG enV. The Rival phone features a full QWERTY keyboard that slide out from the side, and it is designed for quick and easy messaging just like what LG enV is designed for. The Rival has a 2.0-MP digital camera, 3.5″ headset, microSD memory slot, VCAST support, and GPS support.

Samsung Alias 2 (SCH-U750)

Samsung SCH-U750, also known as Samsung Alias 2, lands at Verizon Wireless today! As the name suggests, the Alias 2 is the upgraded version of once very popular messaging phone – Samsung Alias. The Alias 2 remains dual-hinge design, relying on e-ink keyboard (soft keys) for the keyboard buttons rather than hard keys. How the phone works is when the Alias 2 is opened like a traditional clamshell, the e-ink shows a regular numeric dialpad; when it is opened sideways, the e-ink turns into a full QWERTY keyboard.

If you love BlackBerry PDA Phone, you are going to love this BlackBerry Storm, BlackBerry’s first touch screen phone. The Storm phone is a strong rival of Apple iPhone, which both phones have their own edges. BlackBerry Storm, like its predecessors, is going to have state-of-the-art email solutions, GPS navigation system, MP3 music player, and Video Player. The only thing that user should be concerned is the Storm PDA doesn’t have physical QWERTY keyboard. Instead, the Storm features a virtual touchscreen keyboard, just like what Apple iPhone has.
