Do you still remember the ancient coin-operated telephone that charges dimes per call? Now, we have cell phone that is operated by coins too. Picture shown above is a real coin operated cell phone, named 100-F and manufactured by a new Latvian manufacturer called Lirpa (like me, you probably think it is manufactured by a Chinese company). If you don’t have coins, no problem, the phone takes credit cards too. The phone will be available in UK pretty soon, and the UK-version of 100-F is going to have £1 coin slot for calls and a 10p slot for texts.

It is true that men won’t buy this phone. This handbag-shaped cell phone in the picture is released in Japan by KDDI. Designed by internationally renowned Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, the phone features patterns of her brightly colored polka dot motif. We are not sure women would die for this phone or not. The Wristfone runs on GSM network, which means you could get it to run on GSM carriers, such as AT&T and T-Mobile. The Wristfone has an array of quite impressive features, including a small touch-sensitive screen, a 2.0-megapixel digital camera, a MP3 music player, Bluetooth connectivity, USB port, and a microSD memory expansion slot.
