Dell Mini 3i

Here are some close shots of Dell’s first mobile phone, Dell Mini 3i, which will be released only in Asia, focusing on China market. The Dell Mini 3i is powered by OPhone operating system, an Android-like operating system that is also developed based on Linux open source code. In case you don’t know, the OPhone platform is developed by China Mobile, the world’s largest carrier, to support China’s homegrown 3G standard. It looks like Dell is more excited about the fast growing China market than the mature North American market.

Dell Mini 3i measures 58×122×11.7mm and weights 103 g. It has a 3.5-inch multi-touch LCD screen, rivaling Apple iPhone 3G S. It also has a 3-MP digital camera with LED flash, stereo speakerphone, and MP3 player.
