HTC Droid Eris Is Now Available at Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless saved the best till the last. Out of the four phones (the other three are BlackBerry Curve 8530, Samsung Convoy, and LG Chocolate Touch) that VZ launched today, the best is the HTC Droid Eris full touch screen phone powered by Google’s Android operating system. The Droid Eris runs on HTC Sense user interface that allow users to create customized home screen that suit their needs. Users could customize a seven-panel wide home screen with a wide variety of widgets designed to bring the most important information to the surface.
The Droid Eris will be available online and at stores on Nov 6, and its selling price is merely $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement on a voice plan with an e-mail feature or e-mail plan. That is a very good price compared to T-Mobile MyTouch, which is selling for $179.99 as of today.
