HTC Released HTC HD2 SmartPhone Powered by 1GHz Processor

The Taiwan-based cell phone maker, HTC, today announced the HTC HD2, an amazing full touchscreen phone that comes equipped with whopping 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen, and is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional with HTC “Sense” User interface.

The HD2 phone easily surpasses the Apple’s iPhone 3G S – the HD2 is powered by Qualcomm’s new 1GHz Snapdragon mobile processor with 512MB ROM and 448MB, enough to load any application at lightning speed.

Since the phone is running on Windows 6.5 operating system, it comes preloaded with standard Smartphone apps, including Outlook Mobile, Internet Explorer, Windows Marketplace, and Windows Media Player Mobile. Besides supporting 3G network, this HTC phone also support Wi-Fi access, allowing users to browse the Internet at any WiFi HotSpot. If you love social networking apps, you are going to love this phone as it has preloaded Social Networking apps for Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

Unfortunately, the HTC HD2 will not land in the United States anytime soon. The lucky European are going to be able to get the HTC HD2 sometimes in October, as HTC is going to partner with some undisclosed European carriers.
