Huawei Jumps into Android Bandwagon

China’s largest networking and telecommunication equippment maker, Huawei, plans to release 2 to 3 Android-powered phones in 2009. Also, Edward Chen, head of Huawei’s devices unit, said that they plan to release more mobile phones running on Google’s Android platform next year.
Edward Chen project sales of 40-45 million mobile phones in 2009, about 25% to 33% increase of sales of 2008.
