India, the world 2nd largest population country, has more than 500 million wireless phone users in 2009. As of November of 2009, the total number of wireless and mobile (GSM, CDMA, fixed wireless phone) stood at 506.04 million, 3.61 percent increase from 488.40 million in the previous month. China is still the country that has the largest mobile users, has more than 700 million users in 2009. For sure there is still room for growth in India and China as their populations are 1.14 billion and 1.3 billion respectively.
