April 3, 2008- Mobile internet is something that is slowly becoming a standard for all new cell phone devices. However, the miniature version we are al used to viewing on our handsets is about to become old news. Many mobile phone browsers offer little or no satisfaction to users because in order to view pages on mobile devices, pages lack images and embedded elements. In some ways, this has become a sort of alternative internet that mobile users must us rather than having full access to THE internet, of which there is truly only one.

Many people own mobile devices that allow them to surf the internet when they are away from home; however, as soon as they regain computer access of can pull out their laptop, they are no longer interested in browsing the web via cell phone browser. The experience leaves users unsatisfied and we believe that cell phone companies can and will do better in the future and provide more improved means of internet access via cell phone. Of course, as with all plans worth acting on, the only thing holding them back is… money. Keeping costs down, for users and manufacturers, will be the most difficult part of the venture. Intel is talking seriously about entering the mobile internet devices market. This would not only create a new option for customers interested in internet ready cell phones, but would also create and important new source of revenue for Intel. I, personally can not wait to see what ideas Intel has under wraps.
