Sony Ericsson is making provisions to release two phones that are jammed packed with style, ability, and convenience. The W61S and W62S are the current cellular sensation and are set to make their debut in Japan.

With a release date of April 2008, the W61S is loaded with the latest in advanced technology. This bad boy has an extensive list of features that include a 5.11 megapixel camera with a CMOS sensor; Kaokime Lite, which is an automatic brightness adjuster that takes true-to-life photos; Smile Shutter Lite, which snaps pictures automatically upon smile detection, and a 2.8″ WVGA screen with “Reality M AX” technology by Bravia. The phone also features anti-shake and auto focus, 3x optical zoom, TV-Out, micro SD slot, the usual Bluetooth and GPS and many more features. The phone will be clad in your choice of custom color of either Shadow Black, Spectrum Pink, or Prism White.

The W62S doesn’t appear to have nearly as many features, but is still chock full of the amenities cellular phone tekkies crave. Sporting a 2 megapixel camera, WQVGA screen and micro SD slot, this clamshell body style phone is sure to please even the tekkiest of the tekkies. Though no word yet on its release date, the W62S will be made available striking colors of either Silver Leather, White Lime, or Black Rose.
