LG Debuts Sleek and Slim KF510 Slider Phone

LG Electronics announced that it will be unveiling its new KF510 slider phone at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona on February 11th. The KF510’s styling clearly emphasize slim and sleek. At 10.9mm thick it is super thin, but don’t think it’s flimsy; its body is made of a metal frame and tempered glass, which seem to be quite sturdy. The KF510 will debut with two color schemes: Stardust Dark Grey and Sunset Red, both with a metallic look to them and a glossy finish. The phone looks very attractive.
The keypad has a checkerboard pattern and the paint finish is applied in a gradient in both the red and grey options giving it an aggressive feel. Its user interface will be centered around LG’s advanced touch technology with tactile and visually interactive menus and options. The face of the phone is completely flat with various LED-lit icons indicating touch-sensitive areas. The phone also boasts a multi-function, 3.0 megapixel camera, as well as an MP3 player. LG plans to launch the KF510 worldwide, beginning with major global markets in March 2008.
