Other features of the LX570 include an integrated camcorder and 1.3-MegaPixel CMOS This LG phone also includes the Muziq’s touch wheel, automatic speech recognition capability and speakerphone making this phone fun and easy to use.

  1. Wassup Says:

would a great gizmo if the software music player didn’t suck so bad!
the supplied player (Sprint) is a cheapo Java app with some of the poorest title management I’ve seen. It’s pretty much useless for navigation with a large music collection. Really sucks!

  2. Darren Says:

Yeah i bought one, but I don’t like the music application. The “shuffle” isn’t even random. It keeps playing the songs in the same order! If you have a lot of songs, your songs will be hard to find. Also the FM music transmitter doesn’t even produce a strong signal! So it’s fuzzy occasionally whenever I’m driving, and that is ANNOYING when i’m trying to jam to some good music. I look stupid in my car waving around my phone trying to get the FM transmitter to get a good signal transfer. And yes, I did pick a free frequency.

The picture application sucks too. There is no way you can fit the pictures you take from your computer into the phone display. It always distorts the picture by zooming in a lot. You can’t set your computer pictures to wide screen mode to fit the entire picture, so you only get the zoomed in area like your faces of your pictures.

The memory card that comes with it is only like 64MB. C’mon now. It’s 2007. We need GB Sprint! At least one! Anyone who buys this phone is gonna be listening to music of course! Geez are these designers stupid?

Also, the text message history only carries a 100 texts and you can’t control how many you can save.

The T9 English is awesome, but the word creation feature sucks! Occasionally, it will save words that i type on accident WITHOUT asking me. This is VERY ANNOYING.

Alright, enough about the negatives. Here are the positives:
It performs basic phone functions very well. The speaker phone is okay/average. The phone signal was better than my last phone, a Samsung. And lastly, it looks cool.

  3. VodkanLemons Says:

Sorry to burst your bubble, but this phone will NOT “rock you right not of the box.” It will piss you off right out of the box. SPRINT’s media player is garbage. It sucks so bad. I can’t believe that the main feature of this phone: “MUSIC PLAYER” is so horribly designed. I will try to find an alternative media player program if I can. Sprint sucks gonads!!!

  4. MoMo Says:

When I first got the phone I thought it was so cool until I found out that I can’t even bluettoth everything. Now I am so mad and I want to return this phone

  5. Ash Says:

Well… Living in a tiny town with Either Sprint or US Cellular as a carrier, I think this phone is pretty cool. Sure the music player isn’t Ipod quality but it IS A PHONE.

It works pretty well for me. Although I did upgrade from a Nokia 6165i. Talk about sucking. The pictures aren’t too bad, and not to mention its really nice to use with the SD cards, you can put music on, and take pictures off SUPER easy.

The only REAL negative I have is… Yes… there is really NO memory at all, without buying a 99 Dollar 4 Gig card. But I mean… Its a nice phone.

Its slim, and comes with a variety of goodies you can buy for it. So far it seems to be holding up, and from what I’ve heard LG is a good brand.

I recommend it, if you aren’t looking to buy it FOR the Mp3 player or Camera.

They make specific, MP3 players, and Cameras for that ;)

  6. Lau Says:

my computer doesn’t recognize the phone and I want to upload music to it…what do I do? I need to download some sort of software, no CDs or anything came with the phone.

  7. Mark Says:

A CD should have come with the phone if you bought it from sprint or radio shack.

  8. aj Says:

yo i havent got the phone yet n im already hatin it i dont know wat to do

  9. V Says:

Bluetooth Function is sux! Also you can’t set song as a ring tone.

  10. Borimex Says:

Bluetooth does SUCK!!! also the battery dies fast. Pictures taken with digital camara cannot be easily seen on the phone… but most of Sprint’s phone suck anyways….

  11. struther stromire Says:

i cant believe u cant bluetooth music

  12. Heather Says:

I’ve had my phone for a few months now. I got it for the MP3 player it came with, to listen to at the gym. I do dislike how it only came with the tiny card. I can fit about 15 of my songs on there… and that is about it. I mean, it does have it’s disadvantages, but overall I like it a lot better than the Samsung phone I had before.

The Bluetooth function on this phone does need to do more than it does. I thought it was just me being retarded & not being able to use it, but all you can Bluetooth from phone to phone is contacts and that seems to be about it. It would be nice to transfer songs.

The flash on the camera is completely useless!!! Haha. I will say that is about the only thing I really hate about my phone. So I just use my digital camera to take photos and then transfer them over. It doesn’t really distort the photos when you set them as a background or send them though. It will zoom into the dimensions that is needed. And I sent a photo from my phone to my husband’s of a photo that had been resized, and it sent it to him without distorting it. Of course he has the Motrazr, which I’m glad I chose the Musiq over that one. I dislike his phone very much. I don’t see why it is as popular as it is.

So far, this is the best phone I’ve had and as soon as I can get a bigger MicroSD card, I’ll probably use my music player more often.

I do know I wanna look for a screen cover for it. Over the past few months, the keys have damaged my screen somewhat from shutting my phone so often. Does anyone else have this problem?

  13. tony Says:

no software,no bluetooth songs from buddies bullsheeze not happy and just got it today

  14. tony Says:

does this phone actually have sirrius radio?

  15. steve Says:

you have to subscribe to unlimited web browser and sirius from your cell service. it blows because it streams through 1x and is always glitchy

  16. steve Says:

oh and transmit the sirius stream to your car via the FM transmitter? nope. can’t receive and transmit through the same antenna at the same time. besides, the FM transmitter stinks anyway…

  17. stevieo Says:

agreed. Bluetooth has many cavities while sitting next to my wife we cannot send picture files even though the folder is set up to send the signal always fails not bad for an upgrade from a razor though

  18. Ash Says:

If you cant upload music to it, take out your Micro SD card, stick it in to the computer and drag and drop.

And Yes you CAN set music as ring tones. You just have to be tech savvy enough to figure it out. I did it with ease.

  19. shadonis Says:

actually i got the phone twice!! the first one had soo many glitches but the one i just got is startin to do the same thing. the big thing for me is it doesnt ring or vibrate for text messaging..just this stupid beeping sound! and it was working at first.
sigh lg phones just suck period

  20. musiclover Says:

I love this phone. It’s slim, sleek, looks great, has tons of features, and it works good with my motorokr s9 bluetooth headphones.

The FM transmitter isn’t that good. The mp3 player software is junky. You can make your own ringtones.

4gb microsd costs $29 in many places. The only real necessary upgrade.

2.5mm headphone jack limits headphone options. Adapter comes with 5′ of cord. The choice was bluetooth stereo headphones or 3′ of headphone cord attached to 5′ of adapter cord. Finally found a used 2.5mm headphones with phone functions. I go walking with it and it simply rules listening to music and answering phone calls in action.

Don’t buy any motorola bluetooth usb adapters, it’s just not worth it.

I was torn between this phone and the Rumour, I chose this one because it looked like the rumour had proprietary content. The camera is good, but the flash is a problem.

As a phone, lastly, it’s perfect. Don’t know what sort of phone would be better 6 mos. ago when I bought it, but most of these guys probably don’t have an answer. Just bitchin’, ppl.

  21. Mz Taliya Says:

I love this Phon is the best phone I ever had nd cant no phone replace this 1 I have the PINK musiq phone

  22. Don464 Says:

  25. matty Says:

    very shitty phone hahaha…
i got it on boxing day and i loved it, but within a few months (april/may), it just stopped getting service… 24/7 for four days it was “searching for service” when my brothers and parents phones were both working fine:@ (they’re all on bell with me)

i sent it in and they replaced the entire board inside for free cuz it was still under warranty, but not even a month later, the phones screen started turning white!!!!
i didn’t even get the damn thing wet!!!:( lol. so i sent it in to bell and the lady there said it “is not fixable”.

i was pretty pissed cuz its not even an old phone, and i have NOOOOO clue how the damn screen turned white.

here are some of the flaws of the phone:
    - battery life sucks, especially if you use the media player alot. (and dont tell me i didnt charge it right the first day because i did)
    - the media player is horribly disorganized
    - the T9 feature will add words such as “can’t, and don’t.. if you capatilize a word such as “HAHA”, it will add it into your custom T9 words, which just takes up much needed space which brings me to…..
    - the memory card is TOOOOOO DAMN SMALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    - if you’re texting in school, you can’t even feel the vibrate feature which is annoying.
    - the camera flash does nothing lol

  26. joey b Says:

mann look i just got this phone yesterday i had the LG fusik then broke it and got this 1 now i have over 150 songs on my 1GB memory card in the media file and culd play it with no prob on the fusik but now idk how to play the music i went to TOOLS then MEMORY CARD MANAGER nd theres all my songs BUT it dont giv me the option to play them??? wth I need hellppp!!

  27. argonaut Says:

To get the your old songs from fusic to work use the software that came with the phone. Download to computer if you have to then have the software convert and upload them to the phone. The phone won’t play wma but the software will convert them for you.

  28. lomerson2 Says:

Does anyone know if there is any way to work around the 4GB max on the MicroSDHC card? I would like to use a 16GB card. Thanks.

  29. Bobatron Says:

I was Instantly mad with this phone, day i bought it. Being called the LG MUSIQ I bought it for the music player, Don’t. The mp3 player is literally the worst player i’ve ever seen. You can’t do anything with it while music is playing, and i hope you like to listen to your playlist as is cuz thats all you got. I went back to my old crappy 10 dollar no name ipod knockoff.

The camera is bad, just… bad.

Ringtones: your gonna hafta buy a data cable seperate, or go online with it an get shit.

As a phone it works fine i’ve only ever lost service twice. But in an age where phones are absorbing mp3players camera’s, camcorders, gps systems… ect
    this phone fails hard.

    Rock you right into frustration.
