Extra, extra! LiMo is getting ready to show off what they have got. NEC has exhibited their first LiMo-compliant handsets featuring Linux software!! These amazing new phones are the very first generation of mobiles to use the LiMo platform. LiMo is proud of their rapid progress and excited to offer this new option in handsets to their users. There were four models of their handsets introduced. First introduced and sold in Japan, they are the FOMA™ N905i, N905imu, N705i, and N705imu. Each model comes with its own unique qualities and concepts that the users are sure to be pleased with.
The N905i features advanced functionality that includes convenient and essential capabilities such as international roaming, HSDPA, mobile television, global positioning. This amazing little phone has the capabilities of two phones in one as well as credit payment services, a must for anyone on the go who wants to stay ahead of the game. The N905imu does not feature the mobile television available with its counterpart, but it does boast a slim and elegant design with many equally advanced and desired features. The N705i features mobile television “amadana” design. The N705imu is the slimmest of the clam-shell style handsets.
