March 26, 2008- Update: Gigabyte Communications has already begun to receive orders for its t600 mobile operator Neuf Cegetel. This new France based operator will find its way into the mobile TV handset market under the name TWIN TNT, according to Taiwan sources. Additionally, two other handset makers in Taiwan have already established a business relationship with Neuf Cegetel. High Tech Computer (HTC) and Wistron NeWeb are will be working with Neuf Cegetel to provide these services and devices to interested users.

Gigabyte has also be working on another mobile TV design. The new handset that will follow the t600 onto the scene will be the MS808. This new handset will support several mobile TV standards. This should be a real convenience for interested users in the market for this type of phone. Supported mobile TV standards available for this phone include DVB-T, DVB-H, ISDB-T, and DMB. The newest Gigabyte MS 808 will also feature such mobile phone standards as Wi-Fi connectivity as well as GPS functionalities.

Gigabyte is also cooperating with PND vendor Garmin. They are planning the development of a GPS enabled smart phone. This new design would come standard with all the features users know and love in their handsets. Users will be able to look forward to exciting features such as a built in 5 mega pixel camera to capture those special moments you may miss at other times because you did not have your regular camera with you. Users can surely look forward to all these new features and phones from Gigabyte and participating carriers and manufacturers.
