March 26, 2008- Yesterday Motorola announced that they are ready to launch the latest version of their award winning Good Mobile Messaging software in India. The goal of their newest version, Good 5, is to meet the needs of the enterprising mobile market. They will also deliver service to make this mobile workforce more productive than ever before. Good Mobile Messaging already serves more than 12,000 enterprise customers in over 90 countries on more than 200 different carrier networks. In India, Good 5 will become available through Motorola PartnerSelect.
The newest version of Good was specifically designed to provide easy to use extensive personalization features such as news feeds, custom email alerts, and complete calendar options. Security and management has also been stepped up for this new service and now includes over the air control of features like the on board camera that most phones come standard with now. Other services have also experienced a make over such as Bluetooth, storage cards, and device lockdown options.
Motorola has really hit the nail on the head with this one. They have successfully spanned the gap between usability and personalization for their users and arming IT with more remote device control. They will be able to offer more services to more customers, those interested in enterprising as well as those simply wanting to stay connected to the world everywhere they go. To make things even better and more convenient, Motorola’s PartnerSelect Program also offers a complete family of mobile computing solutions as well. Good is compatible with smart phone devices such as the MC35, MC50 and MC70, and the Motorola Q smart phone.
