Trying to wean myself of a broadband subscription plan, but a little reluctant to switch. Motorola Q9M SmartPhone running Windows 6.0 with multiple applications installed. The problem is the phone's was heavily promoting the Bluetooth capability and forgot to mention that Wi-Fi is NOT part of the equipmment. So I am madly investigating the purschase of a Spectec Mini SDIO WiFi Card 802.11b (SDW-822 Mini SDIO Wireless LAN). Why this brand? Because according to my research, this is the most compatable. So, my question is, can someone on the list who have used this card with the BOING service, please provide a rating on the connection time and the disconnects or drop-offs.
Thanks

I have used MP3/WMA music for ringtones. Using "Windows Mobile Device Center" on your computer copy your favorite MP3 to \Application Data\Sounds directory on your phone. Then go to "Settings" and then "Sounds" and under "Ring tone" select the MP3 file you loaded. Try it, but pay attention to your phones available memory. When you rip your favorite MP3 in Windows Media player, on your computer, select the lowest file size.

So far this has been an interesting phone/PDA. I like the fact that it has a large database for contact information. The interface for the PC was a little tricky, but once I worked out the details, it works flawlessly. I am pretty impressed with this device. The sound quality of Windows Media Player 10 Mobile is quite good considering how small the speakers are. With a headset, it is quality stereo. I had an LG env, and I loved it, but this is more comprehensive. The coolest thing is the speaker phone portion is actually better than using just the phone.

I give the device an A+.

I really like this phone. I love how it automatically corrects my mistales :) and I love the ringtones.. I download mine off the internet. I have not been able to connect it to my computer though. And for that I am very disapointed. But, overall I like it.

I have to say im a little disapointed in this device.
The primary reason is I would have thought with my service provider(SP) they would have made sure that it had the SP's Gps software capabilities.
Also the phone tends to lock up from time to time.
Even with nation wide coverage from the SP the drop calls are higher then expected.
With a total price tag of 499.99 the phone is a let down.
