Samsung Alias

April 1, 2008 – Verizon Wireless has a new announcement: the successor to the Samsung U740 will be available in a few weeks. The Samsung Alias is this new design that will soon be available through Verizon Wireless. The Alias features a dual-hinge design, a QWERTY style keyboard, as well as a sassy silver finish that makes this phone stylish as well as functional. By utilizing the full QWERTY keyboard when the phone is opened horizontally, users will be able to send text messages and emails with easy and convenience since this is more similar to the keyboards we are accustomed to typing with on our PCs. However, when users open their Samsung Alias vertically, the Alias becomes a clamshell phone with a sleek and slender design being featured.

Users can also download music to their phone or transfer their own music from their computer to their handheld device. VCAST is available to customers to stream video clips.
