SonyEricsson has released the all new SonyEricsson K610im cellular phone that support i-mode wireless services. The SonyEricsson K610im is a light, slim and fashion looking 3G cellular phone. Besides that, the release of the K610im cellular phone mark a new page in SonyEricsson’s history as the K610im is the SonyEricsson’s first GSM/UMTS cellular phone that supports i-Mode.
If you wondering what is i-Mode, let me explain to you. I-mode is a new wireless transfer technology that enables wireless web-browsing, MMS, and Email checking faster especially in web-browsing as i-Mode support data compression and extraction which saves us a lot of bandwidth. Because of the success of iPod, the i name is very hot now. All these wireless technologies that I mentioned are called i=mail, i-MMS with overall name – i-mode (isn’t it stupid?)

Anywhere, the SonyEricsson K610im cellular phone is not stupid but in fact it is a powerfully gadget. The K610im is actually built on top of the design of the SonyEricsson K610i, so the designs of these two cellular phones are the same but the features and specifications are different. The SonyEricsson K610im comes equipped with 1.9″ 176×220 TFT screen, 2.0-MP digital camera with 2.5X zoom, 300K extra view camera for wireless video conferencing, and definitely pictures sharing with i-MMS services.
Because the SonyEricsson K610im supports UMTS/WCDMA network, users can download and play wireless on-demand videos / music. Besides that, the K610im cellular phone also comes with internal music player that plays MP3, AAC, AAC+, eACC+ and etc. file formats which definitely suits variety of users who use different operating systems for their PCs.
