this phone does not have a infrared connection, plays mp3 tones , but if u wanna usem them like a ringtone no way jose! wont work !
internal memory is 8 mb not 11.!
and i`m not sure about voice dialing, i tried evry buton …didnt find it.
    i have nokia 6133.

Hold the volume down key down for a few secs and it will activate the voice dialing, and you can use mp3’s as your ring tone you just have too convert them first. Great phone, im loving it!

  3. ackmondual Says:

I’m confused about the IR feature, as some cell phone info sites say it has it while others don’t. I’m guessing some sites may be mixing up this spec with compatible models like the 6131 or where it appears not all 6131’s and 6133’s are created equal.

    .

Voice dialing is there. As per the instructions in the user manual….
“”In the standby mode, press and hold the right selection key [aka the right soft button] or press and hold the volume down key. A short tone sounds, and Speak Now is displayed”"

    Also works with compatible headsets

    .

the 6133 canNOT play your own, custom mp3 ringtones. I believe tmobile, and possibly Verizon crippled this feature with their firmware, as opposed to the Asian market where this does work (or whatever the 6133’s equivalen tthere is)
However, you can get your own ringtones to work if simply convert them to WMA.

I’ve found this app is freeware and works well

  4. Bill Says:

You can use the Nokia PC Suit multi media player to convert mp3 to format that the phone can use as a ringtone. Have done this with several clips.

  5. Neece Says:

You can convert mp3s to wma but you still cant assign them to a specific person. I like having a different song for certain contacts but i have to settle for one personalized ringtone as the main ringer. :(

  6. rhilael Says:

I downloaded a ringtone from T-Mobile and my phone rings with that tone, but it doesn’t appear on the phone’s “tone downloads” list. So, if I chose to change ringtones I’ve lost this one? Or?
