

Cisco services are now available on Nokia devices. Cisco Unified Internet Protocol Phone (IP) capabilities are available in Nokia Eseries smartphones. These two companies are working in cooperation to provide each other’s services to their customers. Over 100 customers are served in commercial use and more than 600 customers are served in the trials for this Nokia/Cisco cooperation. University of Arizona will now be offering these Nokia Eseries smartphones as a standard voice option. The university will be able to take advantage of a campus-wide network. Over 186 buildings across 378-acres can operate thanks to the dual-mobile cellular and WiFi solutions offered by Cisco and Nokia.
The goal of these companies is the best in class service in voice and data connectivity. There are a number of large enterprises as well as medium and small businesses that are currently taking advantage of these solutions or are in the trial stages. Other companies have also joined with Cisco and Nokia in order to be able to offer their customers extended desktop applications and extended security measures. Therefore, users will be able to be more efficient and increase their productivity while using their advanced access.
