
April 3, 2008 - Nokia has just let the top off of their latest innovation at CTIA 2008. They have officially made the announcement that their latest venture: their latest Internet Tablet, the N810 WiMAX Edition. This new version of their already existent N810 is supported by Sprint;s new Xohn WiMAX network. There are some other changes that will be made to the design of the N180 as well, such as the addition of a black brushed metal finish complimented with red and white keyboard backlights to make this phone really stand out.

This Nokia N810 will be the third Internet Tablet from Nokia and it will feature a lot of great features that make it designed to sell. The user interface is powered by Linux, and the 4.13 inch screen features an 800 x 480 resolution which will make menu and option navigation quick and simple. A front facing camera, which is something a little different from other designs, allows users to make video calls from their handset using Gizmo’s VOIP programming. The N810 also features GPS and WiMAX internet features to keep you connected on the go and able to be on the go at all by keeping you navigated through all your daily routes and meeting locations.

The QWERTY style keyboard is situated in a slide out design so that it is extremely convenient for all texting and data creation that users might need to accomplish daily. For an even more extensive PC experience via this handset the Maemo OS 2008 comes with Mozilla based browsing to more accurately mimic the feeling of using your PC. Planning is that the Nokia N810 will be available this summer, however pricing is yet unknown. We’ll keep you posted.
