Phone looks like great, But 2MP camera? What a joke with such expensive phone? Doesn’t Nokia company know how to add touch screen technology even such expensive phones? I think more implements and user reviews needed Nokia. Thousands of Fake phone manufacturers also go ahead with touch screen and dual sim phones. Nokia still just an Expensive brand name only, They can not full fill the customer needs. Isn’t it?
2 MP camera sucks, but who cares? All the other features are great and the design is great. When will this phone come out in Germany?

I have had this this phone for about 3 weeks now
PROS:
The sound quality is superb
The wifi works well
The screen is bright and clear
CONS:
it feels very very cheap and nasty and the slider creaks and rattles
It has a very cramped keypad that isn’t easy to use
The menu system is overly complex
OVERALL:
Cheap and nasty NOT the quality product I had expected
I got this phone about two weeks ago, quite happy with it at the mo. Yes it’s only got a 2mp camera but I upgraded from an N73 so thats not a problem. Sound quality is good but the N73 was louder (maybe because the speakers were placed together at the top rather than at either side like on the N81). Menu system slightly confusing at 1st but getting easier with practice. I’ve got a Voda PayT sim installed, i can recieve mms but not send at the mo. That’s probably a problem with settings though, not the phone.
Oh yeah, and I did experience 1 complete lock-up about 3 days ago. Nothing would work at all, I had to pull the battery to reset… what’s that all about then???
Its a mind blowing phone.
I have thi handset and its great, the 2mp camera is no big problem as its aimed more at music than pics and video. The menu system can be confusing if your new to the N series but overall its worth it

i have got the phone now for 2 months, and i think its the best phone i ever had. and i have got a lot of phones, it got a stunning look and it is absolutly easy to use. for me it is the best nokia ever so far i think i will use this phone for a longer time.
The 2 megapixel camera isn’t so bad. Well, N81 is much easier to use than N95. I’ve had n81 about 8 months and i like it. In finland it did cost something about 500€. I wrote this message with my N81 and i can say only one thing, this phone rocks! And it really rocks, because the speakers are very big. This phone has few problems. Some times it lags very much and when i call i have to use the big speakers ’cause the smaller did broke somehow. And this phone has very much bugs. But those things don’t matter. And it’s not only phone! It’s phone, gaming device, mp3 player, camera, and you can use it as “moving computer”! This phone rocks! Ps. And i forgot to say im not sure but i think this has GPS. I have n81 8gb and im not sure about n81. And i forgot to say (again) that 8gb is a lie! The memory of n81 8gb is just 7,4 gb. And indeed this is smartphone.
I posses this phone for about 6 months now. i have not had many issues with it thou. Phone rocks all the way from music, to wi fi, to gaming, etc. It does pass out once in a while and have to remove the battery. But thats very very rare. Music is awesome and gaming too. I love this phone. Worth the money. Do not think bout the 2 MP cam. Feels bad thou but other features make up for it. Enjoy this fone baby..!!

Camera isn’t good but when used with different settings the picture quality is good.i’ve tried taking pics under different settings.
like auto mode is the best for outdoors, night portrait for indoors during daytime,etc. just try various combinations and then reply.
I think n81 is the best fone nokia had ever tried to make. It’s sound is best even better than n96 and 5800. I have both 3 of them but i use n81 more as it is oldest among all. Even though i prefer taking it out. As compared to price it’s worthy wat it has been. And about cam try to change the setings it can beat n73’s 3.2mp. I luv that phone i can’t hear against it….
