Nokia and Paramount Pictures, the maker of Star Trek film, are smart enough to cash-in the Star Trek fever, which began with the release of long awaited Star Trek movie.

The Star Trek phone is a modified version of Nokia 5800, Nokia’s first touch screen phone released in 2008. The Star Trek phone has preloaded customized themed wallpapers, screensavers and eight exclusive ringtones. Plus, it has a special “phaser” application, which Nokia spokesman doesn’t describe much how the “phaser” is going to work.

The phone will be available in May 1 in UK at O2, T-Mobile, Vodafone, and Orange.
