Verizon Wireless today announced a new phone that is designed for your grandpa and grandma. The phone is called Samsung Haven, it is a flip style phone with improved accessibility features, such as an easy-to-read 2.2-inch LCD display with adjustable font size, menu readout function, Emergency 911 shortcut key, and easy access to “In Case of Emergency” contacts.

Besides that, the Haven phone also has tools that keep elderly people healthy – a fitness trainer software that teach stretching techniques, an application to stores medical information, and music to relieve stress.

The Samsung Haven will go on sales July 29 for $40 with 2-year contract agreement required.
