Oracle Partners with Nokia

March 13, 2008 – Yesterday Oracle announced their plans to partner with mobile phone producer Nokia. As a result, Oracle has validate the Nokia Intellisync Device Management and now Oracle’s Siebel CRM platform, Oracle ® Database Lite is now available. Nokia E90 Communicator is now capable of Siebel Wireless. Users and suppliers will both benefit from being able to develop, implement, and manage mobile applications by secure and efficient means. Both will also experience cost savings, increased efficiency, and increased customer satisfaction.
Service provided to users include over the air provisioning, asset collection, access to a help desk, as well as theft loss protection and recovery. Users will also reduce their expenses and save time by quickly and easily creating new users, sending and accepting new devices, and managing profiles as needed.
The Nokia E90 Communicator mentioned earlier was developed to support the world’s leading smartphone platform, S60. This will allow the E90 Communicator to posses all the desirable qualities of a laptop while being put together in a much more convenient package. Mobile workers will have access to applications such as Siebel sales Wireless, Siebel Field Service Wireless, Siebel Partner Relationship Management Wireless and Siebel eService Wireless.
The Senior VP of CRM Development at Oracle said that Oracle and Nokia have been working together at their common goal to achieve the greatest combination of the two companies with the most benefits from each for their users. Enterprises will gain obvious benefits from the integration of Siebel Handheld platforms and applications.
