Pantech Launched Pantech au NS02 flip phone in Japan

Pantech, the 3rd laregest cellular phone market in Korea, is set to launch a new flip-style phone in Japan through KDDI. The phone will be called “007 briefcase”. The name came from the idea of the design, which is to make the phone looks like a nice briefcase that is loved for several generations.

The NS02 features “One-touch character size change” that allowing users to change the size of texts for easy reading. The phone comes equipped with a 2.7inch WQVGA LCD screen, 2.0-megapixel digital camera, GPS, MP3 music player, and 3G.

Executive director Lim, Seong-Jae, chief of overseas marketing headquarter of Pantech Group said : “NS 02 has luxurious design just like a briefcase where important articles are contained and enhanced convenience in use and various functions.” “Design conception of this product is that its value will not become changed with time lapse and differentiated sense, which is expected to put forward a new standard of handset.”
