Philips announced Xenium X830 5-MP Camera Phone

It looks like Philips is getting more jealous of the success of Apple’s iPhone 3G / 3G S and Samsung’s rising market share in cell phone market. As a relatively small player in cell phone market, Philips unearthed the Philips Xenium X830, a candy-bar shaped phone with 5-megapixel digital camera. The phone supports Quad-band GSM networks, and has GPS, Wi-Fi, FM radio, MP3 music player, and Stereo Bluetooth connectivity. However, this phone is lack of 3G connectivity, making it not appealing to users who get used to the speed of 3G.
The phone will be sold in China and Eastern Europe in 2009.
