As the new cellular phones have more and more powerful and megapixels digital cameras, more and more memory will be needed. Thank God, this problem is solved by a company called Scalado in Sweden, which has came out with a technology that drastically reduces the amount of memory needed to handle higher-resolution photos on camera phones.

Scalado’s solution is called “CAPS”, short for Camera Phone Solution. According to the company, CAPS uses significantly less memory and process photos a heck of a lot faster than current phones. For example, a current 2MP camera phone needs 12MB of free memory, whereas with CAPS, only 0.44MB is required.

So, that’s mean we can save tons of money in buying memory giving that this solution is not too expensive.
