Samsung Announced Two New Touch screen phones – Samsung Star (S5230) and Samsung Preston (S5600)

Samsung Preston, Samsung Star

Samsung, the world’s 2nd largest cell phone maker by revenues, released Samsung Star and Samsung Preston phones in its home country, South Korea. Although the names are beautiful, the Star and Preston phones are pretty much just like other Samsung Touch screen phones.

Samsung Star has a 3.0-inch WQVA touch screen with TouchWiz user Interface with Mobile Widgets, a 3.2-megapixel digital camera, Video Recorder, MP3 music player, 50MB of memory space, and a memory upgrade slot that supports up to 8GB. It also has full Internet browser, QWERTY soft keyboard, and “Gesture Lock” and handwriting features

Samsung Preston supports high-speed 3G 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity. Features of the phone include a 2.8-inch QVGA full-touch screen with TouchWiz User Interface and “Gesture Lock” feature, a 3.2-megapixel digital camera, MP3 music player, 80MB internal memory, microSD memory slot up to 8GB, and Video recorder.
