Samsung Begins the 5-MegaPixel Digital Camera Phone War By Releasing Samsung SGH-U600 Slider Phone in Europe

The age of carrying two separated gadgets – cell phone and digital camera are going to be over by year of 2008. Samsung announced a brand new slider phone, Samsung SGH-G600 that comes integrated 5.0-MP digital camera in London. The Samsung SGH-G600 is the first 5.0-MP cell phone that Samsung releases in Europe.

The G600 has the standard design just like other Samsung slider phones. However, we can see that the cover of G600 is as reflective as a minor, which makes the phone eye-catching while you carry it on the street.

The built-in digital camera phone the G600 slider phone supports 5 automatic focal points. Besides that, it also has LED light to help the digital camera focus better when snapping pictures.

Other features and specifications include a big 2.3″ QVGA (320 x 240 resolution) 262K TFT Screen, built-in MP3 and Video Clip Player, FM radio tuner, micro-SD expansion slot, A2DP Bluetooth Surround Sounds output, and USB2.0 connector.

Besides that, the Samsung G600 also supports Office documents viewing and editing, Internet browsing and searching, and PDF document viewing. These features make the G600 phone more likely to be used by businessmen and white-color professionals.

Since Samsung hasn’t release the details information about the G600 phone, we are unable to tell you whether the G600 phone supports WCDMA/3G network or not.

However, we believe the release of Samsung SCH-G600 marks the begin of new 5.0-MP war between Nokia, SonyEricsson, LG, and Motorola.
