Samsung is determined to make standalone digital camera a history, announcing the world’s first 12-megapixel digital camera phone, Samsung Pixon12, which is promised to take perfect pictures. The Pixon12 phone is equipped with 28mm wide angle lens, Xenon flash and a 3.1-inch AMOLED screen. It has a Dedicated Camera Power Key that provides fast one-touch access to the camera functions. Besides that, it also has features such as fast image saving for next shot, auto scene detection, and Touch Auto-Focus (AF) tracking.

The Pixon12 phone will be available in Europe in at the end of June, and will be shipped to other regions in August.
