
March 30, 2008- Samsung has made a very exciting new announcement about their next mobile phone release. They have announced the release of the Samsung SGH-a827 Access, their first MediaFLO TV enabled GSM mobile device. This new device will be available via AT&T. Samsung will be featuring this new mobile device in May 2008 along with another device. Both will be part of AT&T’s Mobile TV launch. This is a very exciting opportunity for Samsung as well as the users who get their hands on these new devices.

This new device will be a candybar shaped mobile phone, but is very unique from other similar designs. The Samsung Access features a landscape orientation as well as 2.3 inch screen for the mobile television options offered with this device. Samsung claims that the Access will offer users exceptional TV viewing reception and that there will be no need for an extra antenna in order to gain this superb reception.

Users can also expect many of the features they expect in a new phone from Samsung’s latest brain child. The Samsung Access features Bluetooth capabilities, as any good new device should, as well as stereo speakers and a 1.3 megapixel camera. A microSD memory card slot is also on board so that users can increase their internal memory for more saving, sharing, uploading, and downloading. The Access will also support applications such as Video Share, IM and mobile email. The Samsung Access is a mobile phone that can be used world wide since it features quad-band GSM as well as 3G support. Although there is no pricing information yet, interested parties can begin looking for the Samsung SGH-a827 Access on the shelves in May ‘08.
