The SGH-T819 is another “copy-and-paste” cellular phone from Samsung. The design and outlook of the T819 is very similar to T-Mobile Blast, which is also a slider phone from Samsung. Featuring sleek coffee brown finish, the Samsung SGH-T819 is designed to impress buyers instantly.
Features and specifications wise, the T819 phone comes equipped with a 1.3-megapixel digital camera that also record short video clips, a built-in MP3 music player, a pair of blasting stereo speaker, and a built-in microSD memory expansion slot. The downside is its 30 MB of internal memory isn’t sufficient for carrying enough music or pictures, which means you must buy a microSD card if you would like to carry more songs in the T819 phone.

  1. J.Stuff Says:

I am having a couple of issues with this phone. I’m wondering if anyone else is having this problem. People I call tell me that they hear an echo of their own voice whenever they speak; i believe this means that the echo cancellation is faulty. I have tried lowering the volume on my own phone and having the recievers lower their volume also, but they still hear their echo. THis is a major inconvenience and annoyance. Also, if someone calls me, and I pull it out of the case, it automatically hangs up on the person because it passes through a magnet inside of the case. Finally, the receivers of my calls also tell me that my voice sounds incredibly fuzzy. It is ashame because I truly do like the phone in it’s look, and features, but these issues are frustrating and I am planning on returning this phone. If any of these problems are happening to you, please post them and let me know.

  5. lashawnda Says:

i also have the samsung t819 and i have no problems with it. in order to put music you will need a memory card reader and a memory card adaptor. and of course a memory card. all my music shuffles and i can play certain playlists shuffled if i like. you just gotta experiment more.

  6. adf Says:

    With my samsung t819,
everytime i go over 35 messages in my inbox theres this little icon at the top.
thats there every time! unless i delete the messages to 0.
its a icon that has a envelope with a red box in front of it and a blue line or 1 on the right of it.
theres no unred messages and everythings good.
    whats wrong with it?

  7. jhfsdhf Says:

that little envelopemeans that your inbox is full and you have to delete messages to get rid of it. so basically, your inbox memory can only hold 35 messages before you have to delete them all

  8. lisa Says:

how do i remove someone from call block?

  9. bkt321 Says:

i believe the icon means only your sim card is full of texts. the phone itself can hold 500 texts. its not that much of a shit phone lol.

  10. GeorgeNyb Says:

Anyone know how to retrieve deleted SMS?
I really need them and somehow they got deleted. I think the kids got into it. Please help. GeorgeNyb@yahoo.com

  11. addy Says:

How do you remove the call block? If it weren’t for that single thing, the Samsung t819 would be an excellent phone. Anyone know?

I like my phone so far, and decided recently to add internet. The browser that comes with the phone is weak as it’s all text. I found a browser to download called Bolt. Took me a little time to find it as it saves the program in the Games folder – but when I did, it made all the difference. I think the browser is in Beta, it’s free, so there are some things that are a little cloogy and the screen is really small for a full internet experience, but you can scroll around and get most everything you get from a full on web experience. Facebook, Youtube, and other websites show up just fine. Google, yahoo search, or however you look for thing on the internet – find Bolt.
