Samsung announced the very US’s first slider phone with full QWERTY keyboard – the Samsung Blast (aka T729), which will be available through T-Mobile. According to Samsung spokesman, the Blast phone is designed for users who need to access emails (Yahoo! Mail, GMail, AOL phone) frequently, and loves to play Instant Messenger ( ICQ, Windows Live Messenger, AOL IM, Yahoo! Messenger)

Besides IM and Email Clients (POP3 and IMAP), Samsung Blast also comes loaded with 1.3-MegaPixel digital camera and MP3 music player which makes the Blast phone not only a “messaging” machine but also a mobile entertainment gadget.

Since the Samsung Blast just runs on GSM networks (GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz), we expect this cool looking will not available through Verizon wireless or Sprint Nextel. However, the good part is this Samsung phone will runs in almost any country in the world.
