Sanyo has agreed to sells its mobile-phone sales business to phone-retailer Telepark Corp. for 4.8 billion yen ($41.6 million).
The selloff of the mobile-phone sales unit, which accounted for less than 2% of Sanyo’s total revenue last year, doesn’t really affect Sanyo revenue wise. However, we do expect to see Sanyo starts falling in the cellular phone industry.
