Right before Thanksgiving big sales event, T-Mobile decided to suspend the Sidekick Slide phone which is a cellular phone that is built by Motorola for T-Mobile. The reason of suspension is because T-Mobile confirmed that there are some problems that causing the SideKick Slide power-off when the display’s slide mechanism is used. According to T-Mobile spokesmen, the SideKick iD and SideKick LX are both fine, so customers don’t have to worry about that. However, if you do own a SideKick Slide, please contact T-Mobile Customer Care at 1-800-266-2459, or talk to T-Mobile sales representative as soon possible.

I have a slide, so will they replace it with a new phone if I pay the difference or what? Im not going to go spend another 300 to 400 dollars on a new sidekick if they won’t replace it, its not my fault their phone sucks. Why do they continue selling them if there is such a problem? Does anyone know if they will replace your slide for another phone or something? Please let me know thanks!!! =]
