

Sony Ericsson has announced the two newest devices to join their family of fine products: the Z780 and the G502, both HSDPA phones. These new designs offer users another option in web-enabled phones. These two mobile devices will introduce the world of online cell phones to a mainstream audience. The Z780 is a tri-band 3G clamshell design that will offer users features such as email and web browsing capabilities, global high speed internet connection, and built-in GPS. The G502 will offers users a classic Sony Ericsson style with high speed browsing and downloading capabilities as well. This pocket sized handset will be an affordable option for users who want a quality web enabled mobile phone. This design will the be the key to offering more users online mobile capabilities at an affordable price.
Both designs feature the latest version of Google Maps for Mobile which enables users to receive turn-by-turn directions from an online database. Users can search a satellite map for local restaurants or hotels as well as personalized locations such as a family or friends house. Accessing email is no problem for these new phones either. The set up wizard guides users through the set up process quickly, allowing them to start receiving emails on their mobile device in no time. The Z780 and G 502 also come with preloaded applications such as a weather forecaster that can be programmed to your current location or home address.
The Z780 will be available in two different colors in the 2008: Grand Onyx and Amethyst Silver. The G502 will be also be available in 2008 in two different finishes: Champagne Black and Brilliant Hazel.
