Sony Ericsson to Release Radio Based Handsets

Sony Ericsson is in the news again, but this time its delivering two phones that are radio based. Expected to make their market debut as early as April 2008, The R300 and R306 is a cell phone and an AM/FM radio.
Clamored with loudspeakers, 3D sound and volume boost, these two phones are sure to “deliver a credible radio-listening experience”, according to an online press release.

Track ID is also available on the handsets to track your music streaming. The GSM/GPRS R300 and R306 phones act as a radio alarm clock as well with its inclusion of an alarm clock feature.
Of course, these super stylish and portable radio phones come with your basic camera, and even a record feature that enables you to record a clip of your song…on the radio.

The R300 will come in colors Antique Copper and Steel Black, whereas the R306 will be sport the contrasting colors of Coffee Black and Champagne. No word on retail price.
